From Vision to Reality: Our Journey of Innovation

Our story at AFC Elastomers is one of continuous evolution. Established in 1974 as a specialist in rubber parts for pumps and gas regulators, our journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of innovation. We didn’t stop there; in the 1980s and 90s, we expanded into rubber-to-metal bonding to serve heavy industrial uses.
This culture of innovation led to many significant milestones, including the introduction of FDA-grade compounds in 2000, enabling us to serve the food and water-contact industries. In 2008, we pioneered Injection and Vacuum Compression Molding, and our state-of-the-art facility was consolidated in 2015. Most recently, the successful implementation of our IATF 16949 certification in 2023 cemented our position as a leader in automotive-grade precision.
